So, you picked your man and maybe your girls, and if you’re on top of your game…maybe even your venue. Now it’s all about picking the perfect shade to enhance your wedding day from the color of the napkins, to color of the centerpieces, and most importantly the color of your bouquet (ahhh… I love, love, love checking out the bride’s bouquets and trying to catch them). So check out what I consider to be the best three color combinations of 2015!

Top Colors

1.Simple with Sage & Sandalwood

Call me bias if you want but my sister had a lovely bouquet that incorporated these colors and I fell in love with it. It was very simple and fit her personality, and fit perfect with her wedding theme. Imagine a ceremony that is looking out towards the Brazos River and pastures that go on for miles. If you plan to go with a classy, rustic look Sage & Sandalwood combination might be perfect for you.

Ways you can incorporate these colors are by adding herb-like centerpieces into your reception. If you’re feeling like it needs a little pizzazz, try popping off colors like GOLD (really diggin’ it right now) and champagne. Champagne isn’t just a perfect beverage for your special day, but would look awesome on your bridesmaids too!!

So if you want to keep you’re look as vintage, classy, and simple then this color combination would be perfect for you! It is adorable!!

2.Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something BLUE.

For as long as I can remember, it was and is still a must to incorporate blue into your big day! So why not make it a part of your color scheme with coral, peach, and powder blue (or any kind of blue you like…coral and navy go well together too). To me this scheme seems more playful. Blue is one of those colors that can be simplistic and beautiful with accent colors that really pop when paired with blue.

No matter the shade of blue you choose, it will look great for any type of wedding. For instance I imagine a wedding that consist of these color schemes being tied into a playful vintage theme or even a beachside wedding. So if you decide to choose blue…then don’t forget your something borrowed, old, and new!

3.Pretty in Purple & Yellow

This color scheme would be a bright, fun look for any wedding! I guess you could say this combination goes well with my underling love of wedding themes, vintage! The two colors with a mix of burlap would look great because the bold color would pop off each other, and you could make it so vintage with sunflowers and mason jars (I feel like that is the new thing now, DIY and mason jars). This scheme would be great for the big white tent, outdoor weddings. If you have a bold personality, then consider these bold colors combinations. It will definitely light up the venue.

Purple & Yellow

But let’s say you want something a little more intimate, then you can swap out the yellow with a gold. This could change your whole atmosphere into a more romantic, deep vibe for your guest. Either one you choose will look great, so dare to be bold with Purple and Yellow!

Gold & Purple

No matter what you decide, I bet the color scheme will be AMAZING. So now you have your man, maybe your girls, and hopefully a few ideas on what color you would like for your big day…it is time to pick your venue (if you haven’t already), so start by checking out the Georgetown Event Center.
