There’s an app for that! No, really…there is. Whoever the tech geniuses are that developed these incredible apps deserve a round of applause from every lovely bride-to-be. Though not all of them are free, (but thank goodness for those that are) these smartphone applications will become your own personal wedding planners with ease!
1. Wedding Budget Calculator ($2.99)
Well, weddings aren’t free. Everyone knows that. But with the help of this app, you no longer have to worry about starting off your beautiful marriage with a load of debt. It flexibly keeps track of standard expense items and offers a feature that you can share your budget with any friends or family.
2. iWedding Deluxe- The Wedding Planner ($9.99)
Don’t keep scrolling down because of the price! Weddings aren’t free, remember? But this is a purchase that you won’t regret. (Was that ice sculpture really necessary?) This is the most comprehensive planning app that I have ever come across. Keep track of to-do lists, guest invites, seating charts, menu choices, gifts, and more.
- Wedding 911- by The Knot (FREE)
We all know that mom knows the answer to everything. But when that phone call just can’t happen, we have your solution. This app answers all your questions about etiquette, the ceremony, reception, fashion, DIY, and answers to nearly any other potential problem that may be thrown your way. With the answers from “Ask Carley,” you will know that you are getting up-to-date information, so there will be no need to rely on mom’s “back in my day” advice.
- The Wedding Snap App (FREE)
How many times have you heard yourself asking your friends to send you the pictures y’all had taken on their phone? Or people asking the same of you? I feel like I am not the only one that struggles with this ALL THE TIME. Even with the simplicity of messaging, it still seems like such a pain. Luckily with the use of this app, all of your guests’ photos go straight to an online album. You won’t miss a single moment. The app even sends reminders to keep taking pictures if they haven’t done so in a while. PLUS it has the capabilities of sending the photos to a live stream that can be showing on the big screen throughout the reception!
